The ha-to-m² direction remains inside the area quantity; it changes the unit label and numerical scale, not the kind of quantity being measured.

Interpretation
Read the result as square meters, not hectares. A value entered as ha leaves the calculator labelled m²; this directional distinction matters even when the two units describe the same area quantity.

- This family converts non-negative area magnitudes; it does not calculate area from dimensions or validate a parcel boundary.
- Acre and square foot are based on the international foot. Legacy survey-foot-derived areas are outside this family.

- A hectare is not the same as an acre.
- m² is square meter, not linear meter m.
