Standards

Editorial Policy

The standards used to create, review, update and monetize CalcMotive calculators and guides.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Editorial purpose

Every published page must help a reader complete a calculation or understand a related decision. We do not publish separate pages merely to target minor keyword variations.

Creation and review

Drafts are checked for mathematical accuracy, clarity, source quality, internal consistency and unintended claims. Material formulas require test fixtures. Dates are changed only when a page receives a substantive review.

Publisher attribution

CalcMotive is shown as the publisher. We do not invent individual authors, teams, reviewers, credentials or first-hand experience. If a qualified external reviewer contributes in the future, that person will be named only with permission and an accurate description of the work completed.

Accountability

CalcMotive is responsible for the formulas, examples, claims and sources it publishes. Corrections are reviewed against the calculation code and cited evidence before a page is updated. Material corrections are recorded in the public correction history.

Commercial independence

Advertising does not determine calculator results or editorial conclusions. Future affiliate relationships will be disclosed near affected recommendations. Sponsored placement will be labeled and will not be presented as an editorial ranking.
