Scope and privacy contact
This policy applies to calcmotive.com, operated and published under the CalcMotive name. CalcMotive determines how the limited processing described below is used for this website. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@calcmotive.com.
Active publisher stack: google. Ads, consent management, publisher scripts, ad slots, the public ads.txt behavior and the publisher-specific Content Security Policy are selected together at build time. A build cannot combine the Google and Ezoic stacks.

Calculator inputs and shared links
CalcMotive does not intentionally send calculator input values or results to Analytics or include them in analytics event names. A newly created share link places only the selected inputs in a client-side URL fragment so the recipient can reproduce the calculation; results are recalculated and are not encoded. The fragment is not sent in the initial HTTP request, but anyone who receives the full link can still read its values. Older query-style calculator links are scrubbed but are no longer interpreted; create a new fragment-based link if one must be shared. Do not use calculators or share links for confidential, regulated, customer or identifying information.
Technical delivery and security
The production web container has access logging disabled. OVHcloud and security or availability systems may still process request metadata needed to route traffic, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and maintain service. Operational logs controlled by CalcMotive are intended to be retained for no longer than 14 days unless a security incident, legal obligation or active investigation requires longer preservation.
Optional publisher services
When a GA4 measurement identifier is configured, Google Consent Mode defaults analytics and advertising storage to denied. The Google tag loads only after the configured Google consent flow reports every relevant purpose as granted or not applicable for that request. A missing or unconfigured consent status keeps the tag disabled. CalcMotive permits only aggregate events such as calculator start, calculation completion, result copy, share-link creation and related-content selection. Page reporting removes the query string.
If AdSense is activated, Google and participating advertising providers may process information according to the choices presented through Google Privacy & Messaging. A Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework must be published and tested before consent-dependent advertising is enabled for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland. The footer provides a way to reopen privacy choices whenever that system is active.
Purposes and legal grounds
- Delivering pages and calculator functions requested by the visitor.
- Protecting the service and diagnosing failures based on legitimate operational and security interests.
- Answering messages and handling privacy or correction requests.
- Using optional analytics or advertising where consent is required and obtained.
- Meeting applicable legal obligations and establishing or defending legal claims.
Providers and international processing
OVHcloud provides hosting and network infrastructure. Google Search Console is an operator-side service and does not add a visitor-side tag.
Google may provide Privacy & Messaging, Analytics and AdSense services when the corresponding feature is configured. Google operates under its own service terms and privacy documentation and may process data outside the visitor's country using the transfer mechanisms available to it.
Retention
Calculator inputs are not retained by a CalcMotive application database. Technical data is kept only for the operational periods described above. Email is retained for as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain a correction record or meet legal obligations. Google-controlled retention depends on the active product and account settings.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to or receive a copy of personal data, withdraw consent and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Use the footer privacy-settings control when available, or email CalcMotive. Contact hello@calcmotive.com. Proportionate information may be requested to verify a rights request.

This page is updated when processing materially changes. The date above reflects the latest substantive revision, not a cosmetic edit.
